FELLOWSHIP

ISSH - ETHICON TRAVELLING FELLOWSHIP IN HAND SURGERY
Indian society of the hand awards two national fellowships in hand surgery every year. The fellowship is sponsored by Ethicon.



Details of fellowship:

  Two Fellows will be selected every year. The Period of Fellowship will be for 6 weeks.

  1. The applicant should be less than 40 years of age.
  2. The applicant should be life member of ISSH.
  3. The applicant should have a keen interest in Hand Surgery and should have attended ISSH Annual Meetings regularly.
  4. Consideration will be given to candidates who have presented papers and publications in Hand Surgery.

Choice Of Centre:

  The candidates will spend a total period of 6 weeks in one or two following hand surgery centres approved by executive committee of ISSH.

  1. Institute For Research And Rehabilitation Of Hand And Dept Of Plastic Surgery - Stanley medical college , Chennai .
  2. Hand Research Unit And Dept Of Orthopaedic Sugery - Christan Medical College , Vellore.
  3. Central Jalma Institute Of Leprosy - Agra
  4. Ganga Hospital , Coimbatore
  5. Mumbai ( Co-ordinator – Dr. Mukund Thatte)
