Application for the Japan Hand Fellowship - 2005

DEADLINE: September 30, 2005

Application:

1. Calling for 2-3 fellows

2. Qualification
- You must be 40 years old or younger
- You must be a member of one of the societies of the Asian Pacific Federation of Societies for Surgery of the Hand
- You must send in a signed Recommendation Letter from the delegate or President of your Society

3. Visiting Period: Throughout the Annual Meeting (April)
Your Registration Fee will be waived.

4. Visiting Requirement: You are required to make an Oral presentation (5-6 minutes) and also attend throughout the Annual Meeting of JSSH. You are asked to submit English written abstract (300 to 400 words) of your presentation.

5. Financial Support: up to 200,000 JPY as traveling expenses (transportation and accommodation fee)

6. How to Apply:
- Download the form by clicking the URL below (http://jssh.gr.jp/english/jhf/Application%20Form%20JAPAN%20Hand%20Fellow.xls) for your application and fill it in and send it to the Central Office of JSSH by e-mail
- Send the printed out Application Form, Recommendation Letter and list of publications (manuscripts only, no abstracts) with you being the first author, and another list of co-authoring publications to the Central Office by airmail

8. Application Deadline: The printed out Application Form, Recommendation Letter and list of publications (manuscripts only, no abstracts) with you being the first author, and another list of co-authoring publications must be received by September 30, 2005.

9. Selection will be made in October by the International Affair Committee Meeting of JSSH and the results will be notified to the applicants by October 31, 2005.
