CRITERION	RUBRIC	MAXIMUM WEIGHTAGE
Cover Letter	Highest points for a better quality letter that demonstrates clear purpose, is articulated well and is presented neatly. Lesser points for a letter that is well written but lacks clear purpose / intent or one that is presented poorly. Least points for an incoherent letter.	20%
Publications [PubMed indexed]	Higher points for a paper as the first author or corresponding author Lesser points for all other papers Least or No points for papers not related to Hand Surgery	40%
Conference presentations	Higher points for paper presentation in national / internationa conferences Lesser points for poster presentations	30%
Experience	Higher points for more experience, with the cut-off being variable	10%
